The cultural diversity of Europe demands versatility in the course design. Thus our seminars are designed – in full accordance with Jan Amos Komensky (J. Comenius) – based on information and hands-on, specific and practical as well as partly playful.
Focusing and dealing with Europe is fun, inspiring, infecting and rewarding for everybody. Thessaloniki is the right place for being inspired for European cooperation.
The seminar coaches of Europa-Kontakt Akademie have come together during their European work. Like-minded and united in their enthusiasm for Europe, the share their experiences and knowledge with the seminar participants form European countries and give impulses for project work, enable encounters in the group and with colleagues from Greece.
Our seminar programme aims at building bridges between people across Europe.
The individual contacts during our seminars have led to a number of international projects.
Thanks to the modern means of communication you may form networks in order to stay in contact with like-minded people and create joint projects.
The city has been a hub and an intersection of different cultures and religions for centuries: Romans, Greeks, Macedonians, Ottomans, Orthodox and Roman Christians as well as Jews have all left their traces. In this vibrant, cosmopolitan city, history and the European present can be lived and experienced. In the seminar programme, the history of Judaism in Thessaloniki is the starting point and example for remembrance and commemoration work in European projects.
